WILL I RECEIVE THE SAME WATCH SHOWN IN PHOTOS

Yes! Photos are an essential part of the description and they are of the actual watch that you will get. As you are buying a used watch, I cannot just post brochure or catalogue photos. I will not even copy/paste photos if I’m selling the same model more than once. Please refer to description, condition description and photos. I do a great effort showing the actual condition and exact dimensions/length. Even the tiniest imperfections I try hard to show them clearly. So, check photos carefully. I believe no other seller would provide such detailed photos.

IS IT A MEN OR WOMEN WATCH?

Tastes differ. While I may specify a watch gender in some listings, it’s hard to use it as a 100% guide. Most of the watches sold on bizarrewatch are from 1990s and before. The standards of watch case size for that era are different and this will keep changing. In other words, any watch can be suitable for both Men and Women, depending on how big you find the watch case size and on your wrist circumference. Again, tastes differ.

WATCH SIZE

I will always include the watch dimensions and wrist size in my listings. This is usually supported by photos of the actual watch being measured using a calibre and a measuring tape. Buyers found that checking the advertised watch size against their wrists and their existing watches so helpful. A measuring tape at your home is never a bad idea.

YOU LIKE A WATCH BUT SIZE WILL NOT FIT

In most occasions, this is manageable. Please contact me so that I can offer you a solution. For bracelet watches, extra links may be available at time of purchase. Bracelets that are too big for a wrist can be adjusted prior to shipping if buyer requests. Leather bands are easier to manage by adding extra holes if the length allows or replacing the whole strap for a longer one.

I only sell authentic watches. Some watches listed here come without their original box or papers, but they are guaranteed authentic.

IS MY WATCH WATER RESITANT?

Well, most watches sold here are rated by the manufacturer as 3ATM (30 metres) water resistant. This means resistance to daily quick splashes, drizzles, sneezing :) and so on. This does not mean you can swim down to 30 metres depth with such watches. All watches on bizarrewatch will have intact caseback gaskets when sold. Crown gaskets for old watches may not be optimal and sometimes hard to replace. I will not advise you to wear your watch while showering unless it’s pressure tested and you make sure this pressure testing is carried on at regular intervals. On request, and for some watches rated 20ATM (200 metres), I can do water pressure testing and include that on description.

WARRANTY

While I'm not an authorised dealer, I do provide warranty for my items up to 3 months. Contact me anytime if you have any question or concern.

BATTERY INFORMATION

If there's no mention of a new battery replacement, the battery in the watch will be of an unknown history. In most cases, I will fit a fresh battery prior to shipping for more peace of mind. I would replace the battery free of charge if you ask for this before shipping, providing a photo confirmation of the battery change as well.

MECHANICAL WATCHES

I will include information about watch’s accuracy, amplitude, beat error etc.. This information proves to be extremely useful when buying a mechanical watch. If the watch is recently serviced, this will be mentioned as well. You may request watch movement service before or after buying. Lead time for movement servicing is at least 2 weeks.

Will ship free within UK using Royal Mail special delivery service for a guaranteed 1 day delivery. Since it’s a service with signature on delivery, UK PO Box addresses are not allowed. If you need special arrangements like delayed shipping or delivery on a specific day, please provide this information when you make your order or simply email me.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

Roughly about 50% of BizarreWatch orders are from outside the UK. I’m happy to ship internationally using insured and tracked Royal Mail service with a signature on delivery. Watch out for import/customs duty charges / taxes / procedures from your country. Please allow extra time for international items. If you’d like an expedited international courier delivery, you can choose this service at checkout & I will use UPS/DHL/EMS for quickest delivery.

RETURNS POLICY

A standard 30 days returns policy applies. Please contact me within 14 days from receiving the watch to confirm and arrange the return. Returned items should be in the same condition as received by the buyer. Postal charges will be paid by the buyer, which can be refunded if the watch proved defective.
